Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, reports that he's spending
$38,000 a month on legal fees. Linda Bollea reports spending $7,000
on clothing, $7,500 on maid service and about $1,700 on jewelry
each month.
It takes me about a month to make $1700 and roughly 5 consistent
months of working to make $7500.
She married him back in '83 when he was still climbing the ladder in
the wrestling industry. He wouldn't blow up in fame until 1985. So
we can't necessarily say she was gold-digging. Maybe trolling for
candy, as he was a somewhat notorious wrestling persona across the
nation by then, and women do love big strong men that can draw a crowd
and all.
The divorce is likely just to split their assets in the face of a
lawsuit brought on by the family of that kid their son Nick killed in
a car accident while intoxicated... so she's probably not trying to
squeeze him for money.
I'm not sure where I'm going with this, except that this is an example
of excessive wealth in our polarized economy, and maybe the Hulkster
should just STFU (BROTHER), pay the affected family whatever they
want, and ground his son until adulthood.

$7,500 on maid service per month?! That's the part that gets to me. I want to see these maids.
Ah, the lives of the rich & famous. Though Hulk Holgan did have a successful career and worked for that $$$... too bad it's all come to this.
