10:25 pm - Home home on the... wait, I just said that I've actually been home for an hour and change. I went to B&N and plucked Jeff Hwang's Pot-Limit Omaha Poker book off the shelf for a look at the Omaha Hi/Lo section, which proved remarkably more helpful than the other Omaha books I plucked off the shelf, which were not only basic in scope but couldn't even present basic info like starting hand requirements clearly. His concepts on Omaha Hi/Lo were much less muted than the aggressive take-their-stacks strategy in the Pot Limit Omaha section, but maintained the same lines of playing for strong drawing hands and chasing only with strong draws and made hands on the flop.
I had a 4 Cheese Panini at the cafe. I'm not a big cheese guy but the Panini is strikingly good, even given the inflated price.
I took a bunch of notes, but in practicing on the free online games, I didn't even need to look at them, as I had the concepts just about down pat and didn't get stupid with risky plays, but utilized proper aggression when I had the best of it. I had remarkable success against players who were playing loose but not stupid aggro like you usually see in free games online. They played smart and showed down solid hands... but when I played a hand to showdown, I usually had them crushed. I like my chances tomorrow morning.
I need to get to bed in an hour or so. It probably won't take much to get to sleep :P
