02:39 pm - Our Geoff Baker-like conversation continues No, Nicole, the parting comment at the end of the 2nd entry wasn't directed at you. In fact, you hadn't replied until AFTER I had posted it, so clearly I didn't have you in mind. I can post by e-mail at work (hence the weird formatting) but I cannot view LJ (other than e-mailed comment notifications) or respond. However, the curious timing (and both others IIRC take their lunches around the same time I do) reeked of comment-poaching (actively posting a comment right after the other person transitions to a point where he/she cannot respond), as friends are aware I have limited LJ access, and of when I can access comments. I would hope that wasn't the case, but I've seen similar ulterior tactics from otherwise good friends before.
And yes, I am choosing to continue this discussion, whether or not I want to. DUH. Clearly, others take issue with the original stance. I'm just not a fan of the Exception Fallacy... unless it turns out that 60% of us are mentally unstable.
